Antique Hand Painted Nippon Porcelain Vase w Light Blue with Pink Floral & Gold Moriage
This is a beautiful matched pair of antique Nippon porcelain vases from the early 20th century (circa 1891–1921), when Japanese exports were marked "Nippon" for the American market.
Each vase is hand painted in vivid turquoise blue with pink and magenta blossoms, highlighted with raised moriage gold scrollwork and gilt handles. The double-handled form and footed base add elegance, while the intricate florals showcase the artistry of Nippon porcelain decorators.
The underside is stamped "Hand Painted Nippon" with the maple leaf mark, one of the classic backstamps used between 1891 and the early 1920s.
These vases display beautifully as a pair and are highly collectible examples of fine Nippon porcelain.
