Victorian Eastlake Rosewood Wall Cabinet – Antique Carved Shelf with Brass Floral Inlay & Mother of Pearl Accents
Description
This antique Victorian Eastlake wall cabinet is meticulously crafted from richly grained rosewood veneer over solid hardwood. This ornate wall-mounted display case features a hinged door adorned with brass marquetry floral inlay, delicate mother of pearl medallions, and fine incised gilt linework. The sides and bracket shelf are accented with hand-carved acanthus scrollwork corbels showcasing the master craftsmanship of the late 19th century (circa 1870–1890).
The interior offers two shallow display rails, ideal for storing or showcasing small collectibles, keys, pocket watches, or religious items. A stunning blend of Eastlake and Renaissance Revival styles, this piece works beautifully as an antique shadow box, curio cabinet, key cupboard, or small shrine.
