Vintage WASA Solingen sewing box, produced in West Germany during the post-war period and used as a salesman advertising presentation piece for fine Solingen scissors and sewing notions.
Crafted from heavy molded resin designed to emulate hand-carved wood, this box features raised figural and tool motifs, a removable lid, and a fully intact compartmentalized interior for organizing sewing accessories.
These boxes were not sold retail and were distributed to shops or traveling representatives, making complete examples increasingly difficult to find.
